Jig clamps to the work (no nail holes) and, using your plunge router, both the long/shallow and short/deep mortises are cut without moving the jig or part. Has two retractable stops for the short/deep mortise.
A 3/4" OD bushing "Woodhaven 5032K" and a 1/2" spiral upcut bit "Woodhaven 15407" are needed, each sold individually. When using a different bushing, ensure the nose does not exceed 3/8" in length.
8662 is for a SOSS 103 hinge - 1/2" wide x 1-1/2" long shallow mortise. Requires a 1/2" solid carbide upcut spiral bit and a 3/4" Bushing & Locknut to cut the mortises.
